Fiji Missions Trip

Dear friends and brothers:

I created this blog to inform you about the missions trip that I will do in June this year to the island of Fiji with the youth of my church.

In that place we will work 10 hours a day doing evangelism, dramas, preaching in the streets, working with children and doing social work.

The main reason that I want to participate in this trip is the love for God and the hope that many lives can be healed, restored and most important saved in the name of Jesus. I am also sure that this experience will change my life and my idea about missions.

Fiji is a country located in the Oceania continent and its capital is Suva. It is composed of 322 islands and 522 islets and the population is approximately 931,000 people.

58.5% of the people of Fiji belong to any religion of Christian origin, most belong to the Methodist denomination. The rest of the population by 33% profess Hinduism and almost 7% profess Islam.

About 45% of the population in Fiji lives below the poverty line. They have no electricity, fresh water and sewer.

God has sent us to this place to do missions this year and preach the gospel, and show the love of Jesus with our own lives and material support that we can offer.

For this I need some help. The most important thing is prayer, for my life and the youth group that will go to Fiji. The main requests of prayers are: strength, faith, wisdom, sensitivity to the voice of God and needs of those who I’ll get to meet and also that God will provide the financial means to go on this trip.

The second thing I need to achieve this mission trip is financial aid. If you want to make a donation for this purpose will be of great help to me. Doing missions is possible thanks to the feet of those who go, knees of those who pray and hands of those who give.

Viaje Misionero a Fiji

Querido amigos y hermanos.

He creado este blog para informarles a ustedes a cerca del viaje misionero que realizaré en Junio de este año a la isla de Fiji junto a los jóvenes de mi iglesia.
En ese lugar trabajaremos 10 horas diarias haciendo evangelismo, obras de teatro, predicación en las calles, trabajando con los niños y haciendo obras sociales.

El motivo principal por el cual quiero participar en este viaje es el amor a Dios y el deseo de que muchas vidas puedan ser sanadas, restauradas y lo más importante salvadas en el nombre de Jesús. También estoy segura que esta experiencia cambiará mi vida y mi idea acerca de las misiones.

Fiji es un país ubicado en el continente Oceanía y su capital es Suva. Está compuesto por 322 islas y 522 islotes y es habitado por aproximadamente 931.000 habitantes.

El 58,5% de los habitantes de Fiji pertenecen a alguna religión de origen Cristiano, la mayoría pertenecen a la denominación metodista. Del resto de la población un 33% profesa el Hinduismo y casi un 7% profesa el Islamismo.

Cerca de un 45% de la población en Fiji vive bajo la línea de la pobreza. Carecen de luz, agua potable y alcantarillado.

A este lugar nos ha enviado Dios para hacer misiones este año y predicar el evangelio, además de mostrar el amor de Jesús con nuestras propias vida y ayuda material que podamos ofrecer.

Para esto necesito algo de ayuda. Lo más importante es la oración, para mi vida y el grupo de jóvenes que iremos a Fiji. Los principales motivos de oración son: fortaleza, fe, sabiduría, sensibilidad a la voz de Dios y a las necesidades de aquellas personas que conoceré. También para que Dios provea los medios económicos y me sea posible realizar este viaje.

Lo segundo que necesito para realizar este viaje misionero es ayuda financiera. Si tú deseas realizar una donación con este fin, será de gran ayuda para mí. Hacer misiones es posible gracias a los pies de los que van, las rodillas de los que oran y las manos de los que ofrendan.
